SDBBP40 36 Square Feet Black Sound Deadening Kit - Nine 18" x 32" Pieces

After doing a 13,000 mile, 2 month road trip in our new stripped down cargo van equipped with only cargo blankets on the side walls and some thick carpet on the floor, we realized that we should invest in sound deadening and insulation. We have no interest in sinking $100k to convert the van.
After researching materials we selected NVX material for sound deadening. Install is now done, have applied 3.5 boxes and could not be happier with the product. Easy to work with, simpler to apply. We applied a piece to the center of every wall and roof panel between structural member. We fully covered the wheel arches, the area over the cab headliner, and each of the doors interiors. With just NVX installed, if you tap on any panel or door all you hear now is a low frequency “thonk.. Without the NVX you would have previously heard a high frequency “tink.” Combined with the insulation, the van interior’s sound environment now approaches that of luxury vehicl while moving or not. Sound reduction is off the charts. It took some time to install the NVX but it was totally worth it. That was before adding the insulation. Added a 3/4” thick, turnkey rubber-like floor covering and we are ready for our next adventure. NVX delivered the four boxes of product quickly and the material was well packaged and in pristine condition. Couldnt be happier with our NVX purchase.

Fully covered my front doors using 2 and a half sheets a door, good coverage on my rear doors as well was mainly focused on front end as I’m installing some nice mid bass woofers and replacing what I currently have I would recommend going to be placing another order soon

there cheaper or better i went with the better so far im happy with the buy.
